iOpener Heating Pad

A microwaveable heating pad filled with a gel that retains heat for several minutes. It softens the adhesive holding screens and back panels in place, making them much easier to remove safely.

  • Heat in microwave for 30 seconds — ready to use
  • Even heat distribution across device surface
  • Safer than a heat gun for delicate components
  • Reusable hundreds of times

When to use it

Before attempting to pry open any device with adhesive-mounted glass. Apply heat for 1–2 minutes, then use a suction cup to begin separation.

What it replaces

A hair dryer on low works. Heat guns are faster but riskier — easy to overheat and damage displays or batteries.
